I begrudgingly responded to the annual Dr. King tribute banner complaint thread due to otherwise unchallenged falsehoods, but I didn't think anyone was
actually interested in seeing me participate in the "MLK Appreciation Thread." Yes, I've studied Dr. King's work at some depth, but I'm
not one to assume that anyone's clamoring for my perspective.
Dr. King stood for the alignment of action and professed ideals. Rather than a glib eulogy, admiration for Dr. King ought to be expressed through action.
That's part of what we try to bring to the community and do with the community every day. Besides, how could I
possibly follow Amber Dempsey quality encomia like "MLK is that dude "?
What's up KL? You haven't been on NT all that much, many of us at NT are missing your insight and often times funny posts. It's break time for us
college students in California so I thought you'd be posting a lot during this time of year. Have you been traveling?
How have things been going for you in Santa Cruz? Are you on track to get your Environmental Science degree next year?
BTW, I love the new feature on Yuku that lets us have multiple sigs, which we can choose before every post we make. That way I can represent Team Economics as
well as my membership in Team Grammar Police.
When you come back, you'll notice that the subscript for my Team Econ sig features some quotes from the Mooninites. Stating the fact that we do indeed know
what's up in the World or that we produce positive externalities ruffled some feathers so I changed the sig.
